Advanced Aari Embroidery workshop
Organized a workshop on “Advanced Aari Embroidery workshop “ on 24.8.2022 to 26.8.2022. All UG and PG Students were participated. The Resource persons from Madura coats inculcate the knowledge from the basics of Aari embroidery work. The students have completed Free style Embroidery, Kutch Embroidery, Huck embroidery, Kantha Embroidery and Counted thread embroidery.
Ideate with clay
Organized a Competition on “Ideate with clay” on 11.11.2022. About 25 teams were taken part in this competition. The participants exhibit various ideas using clay and got prizes.
Terracotta jewellery making
Organized a workshop on “Terracotta jewellery making“ on 21.3.2023. All UG and PG Students were participated. The Resource person from Archana’s Aakriti explained how to make different kinds of jewellery designs using simple things and by using mould. The students have completed studs, Dollar, beads and Jhumka.
Organized a workshop on “Tikuli Art“ on 23.3.2023 for the benefit of hostel students. Tikuli art is a unique art form of Bihar which contains a rich and deep traditional history. The word Tikuli is called Bindi in the local language which is usually in the form of a very shiny dot. The students were motivated to take proper training to become the entrepreneur.
