Mrs.N.Karthiha received her M.Phil and M.Sc degree from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, in the year 2008 and 2006 respectively. B.Sc Biochemistry from Sengunthar Arts and Science College Tiruchengode in 2004. She received B.Ed degree from Tamilnadu Teachers Education University. She is pursuing Ph.D in the field of Plant Therapeutics at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women.

Mrs N.Karthiha holding research experience of 3 years and handled UG and PG classes since 2017. She has completed 3 MOOC courses offered by Swayam. She has completed a certificate course in Food and Nutrition conducted by IGNOU. She has also attended several FDP, workshops and hands on training conducted by various organizations. She has authored a book chapter entitled “Sanga Illakkiyamum Parinama Valarchium” on Tamil Ilakkiyangalil Vazhviyal Koorugal. She has undergone training in Nanotechnology, Clinical lab technology, DNA modification system.

Her research area includes Medicinal plants and therapeutics. She has published 7 articles in international journals and She is Life time member in Indian Academic Researchers Association. She has participated and presented papers in 4 international and 7 national conferences. She has filed a Patent entitled “Fully Automated Domestic liquid Waste Cleaning System”.
