Youth Red Cross

The Youth Red Cross is the most important constituent of its mother organization, Indian Red Cross Society. It is a group movement organized at the initial stages for students between 18 and 25 years of age within the Colleges. Under the guidance of a Programme Officer, the students are trained and encouraged to manage various programmes.

Youth RedCross of SRCW organized Minnal'21 an extravagant event for orphanage students on 13th February 2021. This year due to the Covid-19 pandemic and by adopting all the precautionary measures the event was conducted at Asharya Bala Bhavan, Vadavalli, Coimbatore.
Webinar-Road Safety

Youth Red Cross of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for women in association with Honda motor cycle organized a 10 days event on “Webinar on Female safety riding” for youth Red Cross volunteers virtually. It rendered the safety ways to be remembered during riding the vehicles.
Pongal Day Celebration

Youth Red Cross of SRCW organised a Pongal day celebration on 8th January 2021 at Families for Children(FFC) Podanur, Coimbatore. It was celebrated as a thanks giving festival for farmers. They were provided with food, dress materials, stationeries and medical things for covid-19, and were really happy and enjoyed the day
