About the College
Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women enjoys the reputation of being the most preferred women’s institution for higher learning in the city. The college is affiliated to Bharathiar University and is accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade. With an academic heritage of over 34 years, the college continues to fulfill the holistic educational needs required for the empowerment of women.
The College offers 15 Under-Graduate Programmes viz. B.Com, B.Com (CA), B.Com (PA), B.Com(Accounting and Finance), BBA(CA), BBA(BPM), B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.C.A., B.Sc.(Information Technology), B.Sc (CS) with Data Analytics, B.Sc Artificial Intelligence, B.Sc. (Microbiology), B.Sc. (Biochemistry), B.Sc. (Mathematics), BA(English Literature) and 5 Post-graduate Programmes namely M.Com (CA), M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc (Data Analytics), M.Sc. (Microbiology), M.Sc. (Biochemistry). Catering to the thirst for research, the College also offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in Commerce, Computer Science, Biochemistry and Microbiology.
The College is situated at a vantage location in the city of Coimbatore, and has a strength of 2000 students, ably mentored by a dedicated team of more than 125 faculty members and support staff. The untiring efforts of faculty and students have resulted in 414 University ranks including 55 gold medals.The institution is consistently ranked among the Top 100 Colleges in the surveys conducted by The Week, India Today, Times B School etc.,
