Accelerators/Incubation – Opportunities for Students & Faculties – Early-Stage Entrepreneurs - an awareness session was organized.
Motivational Sessions by Successful Innovators and Successful Startup founder was organized
Workshops on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunity, Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude and Behaviour Development, Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design and Business Models was organized.
An Industrial Visit to Start-up Incubators (PSG-STEP) was held for the students.
Expert talks on “Process of Innovation Development and Technology Readiness Level (TRL)” and “Commercialization of Lab Technologies & Tech- Transfer” was organized.
Achievements
Teams from the institution participated in Smart India Hackathon 2022 finals held at GIET University – Odisha, Gujarat Technological University – Gujarat, Presidency University – Bangalore, BS Abdul Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology – Chennai and won Naari Shakti Award and a Cash Prize of Rs.20000.
Teams from Departments of Computer Science, Biochemistry and Microbiology submitted their ideas for Toycathon 2021. Students team LEATHEL GIRLS and Team GRAVITY in physical category, Biosquad in digital category got selected for TOYCATHON Finals.
Two teams from the college were selected for the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon held at Varanasi and Chattisgarh. The first team won the first prize of Rs.75,000/- in the 36 hours Smart India Hackathon 2019 held at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. The second team won the first prize of Rs.50,000/- in the 36 hours Smart India Hackathon 2019 held at Chhattisgarh.
