Dr. N. Tajunisha received her Ph.D in Computer Science from Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal and M.Phil. in Computer Science from Bharathiar University. She obtained her MCA degree and Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University. She has 25 years of academic experience and 21 years of research experience. Her research areas include Data Mining, Big Data Analytics and Networks. She has published 30 papers in many journals, 25 papers in various conferences and 2 books. 9 papers indexed in SCOPUS. She has got funding assistance of Rs.3.17 lakhs from UGC for Minor Research Project. She has produced 1 Ph.D scholar and 2 Scholars have submitted PhD theses and 2 Scholars pursuing Ph.D. under her guidance. She is a reviewer in various International Journals, she is a member in IAENG association and she also acted as the chairperson in International Conferences. She has received best paper award in the IEEE international conference at Satyabama university in the year 2010.

She has received Senior Educator and Scholar award from NFED for the year 2017. She has been the BOS member in various autonomous college and she was a member in PG-BOS at Bharathiar University during the period 2013-2019. She was the Research Coordinator in Research and Development Cell at SRCW from December 2013 to 2018 and president of Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) during the period 2018-2020. She acted as the IQAC Coordinator from 2018-2022.
