Mrs.D.Amsaveni has 21 years of academic experience. Her research interests are modern literature and translation studies. She has published 6 research papers and participated international conference, seminars and workshops. She is a certified Prachark in Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Chennai. She has conducted certificate programme (Bol Chal Hindi) for students. She was a question paper setter for Tamil Nadu public service commission TNPSC, Chennai. She is certified as NPTEL Translator and has translated a number of short fictions in Hindi literature. She was a board member in various colleges and currently serving as Chairperson of Languages other than Tamil at Bharathiar University. She has completed her M.A.(Yoga) and conducted many events for faculties and students. She has received funding assistance from Indian council of Philosophical research (ICPR) for conducting International yoga day in the year 2021-22. She serves as a YRC Programme Officer since 2005.She has conducted many programmes and has also received Best YRC Programme Officer award.
